Hannah and Abigail started school on Thursday the 9th (3rd grade/kinder). I worked that day and the next and then, this week, Monday & Tuesday. I mention this because today, Wednesday the 15th, is the first day they're in school all day and I'm not working. I am happy about that, yes.

Is it any wonder, then, that I am back to the blog? I decided to take it out of hiding (needing to have my approval to read) but to also rename it so it's less easy to find by our last name. I also selected to be difficult (impossible?) to find with a search engine. Have yet to check if that's the case.

I have one friend (I'm looking at you, Shauna) who asks about the blog...wanted to be reminded of how to access it...so it is Shauna I have on my mind as I make my way back. The plan, if it can be called one, is to post fewer pictures (see Facebook) and more words. Anyone who has read the blog (Shauna) will recognize a tendency to start and to stop. To start. To stop. I think it's an accurate reflection of how I operate - how life, for me, operates.

I don't have it in me to summarize the last two years the way I summarized the last time I restarted after stopping. Like everyone else, they're full, these years. I'll get into them as I go.

For now, I'm simply happy to be writing and I'm looking forward to this day, now.
