Now over a week ago, we spent the morning of Mother's Day walking the Rillito River (yes, in English that's "Little River River" - brilliant) pathway leading away and back from the Children's Memorial Park. We decided we'll have to walk earlier next time because it got warm pretty fast. But we saw lots of lizards and collected "bean pods" from trees and had a really nice, mellow time.
Hannah wanted to push her bike for a good part of the walk. Abigail was good with riding in the stroller.
Here we are resting on a rock before heading over to the mall for lunch and shopping for my own Mom. I spent the rest of the day with my Mom and Dad going to a movie ("The Bucket List" - we laughed, we cried) and to dinner at Buddy's Grill (really good food). I didn't want the day to end; it was pretty perfect as days go.
