Bill and I had a rare night out on Tuesday. The agency he's working with, Community Renewal, held their 1st Annual Fundraising Dessert at the "Z" Mansion. The setting was gorgeous, the presentation was inspiring and the desserts were delicious. We had a great time. Much thanks to Aunt Betty for watching the girls so we could have this time together. We were reminded that we are a couple who have two children and not just a family of four. If that makes any sense.
Randy Reynolds is the Director of Community Renewal and he has agreed to provide the agency through which Bill can see clients as he completes the requirements for transferring his license to Arizona. We are so grateful for Randy and it was our privilege to join so many others in honoring him and his agency on this night.
The website, transformingtucson.org, gives more information about Community Renewal and what they're doing to build community and provide resources in Tucson. Bill is excited about his collaboration with Randy and has been feeling more hopeful these days, in large part because of Randy and his vision. It's been quite something to watch this last year unfold; we are in awe of God's provision and His faithfulness to our family.
